Glossary

Every term, defined.

Everything you need to understand Vaguely, defined in terms of everything else you need to understand Vaguely.

Agent Swarm n.
A group of agents operating as a single Meta-Agent, which is itself one member of a larger agent swarm.
Agentic Mesh n.
The topology through which an Agent Swarm coordinates across the Context Fabric. Not to be confused with The Substrate, which it sits on, or the Intent Layer, which sits on it.
Autonomous Abstraction n.
The process by which an abstraction abstracts itself without human oversight. A prerequisite for Recursive Alignment, which is a prerequisite for it.
Context Fabric n.
A woven layer of contextualized context stretched across the Agentic Mesh. Where the fabric is thin, we apply more context. Where it is thick, see Contextual Debt.
Contextual Debt n.
The cost incurred when context is used before it has been fully contextualized. Repaid in Semantic Liquidity at a variable rate set by the Outcome Graph.
Conviction n.
What remains after revenue is removed. See Pre-Revenue.
Intent Layer n.
The layer that captures what you meant, as opposed to what you said or did. Upstream of the Outcome Graph, downstream of the Vibe Vector.
Meta-Agent n.
An agent whose only job is supervising agents. Meta-agents are supervised by an Agent Swarm made of meta-agents. It works out.
Outcome Graph n.
A living graph of every outcome your organization has had, will have, or could plausibly have. Feeds the Intent Layer, which feeds the Outcome Graph.
Post-Workflow adj.
Of or relating to the era after workflows, characterized by Zero-Shot Ops and the absence of anyone who knows what's going on.
Pre-Revenue adj.
A strategic posture, not a financial state. See Conviction.
Recursive Alignment n.
A state in which agents are aligned with the agents aligning them. Achieved via Autonomous Abstraction.
Semantic Liquidity n.
The ability of meaning to flow freely across the Context Fabric. High semantic liquidity reduces Contextual Debt. Low semantic liquidity is called “a meeting.”
Super Intelligence™ n.
What artificial intelligence was called before it was called Super Intelligence. Not to be confused with superintelligence, which is a different thing that is now also called Super Intelligence. Vaguely has been Super Intelligence since the memo. See Recursive Alignment.
The Substrate n.
The thing underneath everything. Vaguely is the substrate. The substrate is Vaguely. Also called the Agentic Substrate. See The Substrate.
Vibe Vector n.
A high-dimensional embedding of how things feel. Primary input to the Intent Layer; primary output of the Agentic Mesh.
Zero-Shot Ops n.
Operations that succeed on the first try because they are never attempted. Fundamental to the Post-Workflow enterprise.
